2014 Editorial Plans for Hydraulics


We have a great editorial plan for 2014 for Hydraulics Pneumatics magazine and digital media. We will kickoff the year once again with our Annual Designers Guide Issue in January.

This is a quick but thorough guide to fluid power components, suppliers, and specifications. It gives our audience the actual specs they need in print and online for the right components for their fluid power systems. Add to that our IFPE Conference Preview and you have a great start to the year.

Pump drives will be reviewed in January showing the different ways that they are used in mobile applications such as the pump gear box and power-take-off or PTO. This feature will examine the application and benefits of each method.

In 2014, we will keep our commitment to pneumatic technology and systems with our Automate With Air series in every issue. In January, that feature will be called Automation With Pneumatics. Each issue of HP in 2014 will highlight a specific aspect of pneumatic technology with coverageof market applications and product tutorials.

Our main IFPE preview will be published in our February issue. IFPE is part of the big ConExpo/ConAgg show held in Las Vegas in March. I will be previewing that issue soon.
